Lacrosse Tech Youth Lacrosse

Lacrosse Tech is pleased to announce the Fall 2010 program for boys. The fall program is geared towards instruction with opportunities to scrimmage during each session. Each session has a theme and each of those themes help develop the necessary skills that a player will need to be a successful lacrosse player.

Lacrosse Tech coaches are skilled and experienced coaches as well as players. Their love for the game of lacrosse is evident in their enthusiasm and instruction.

All players will receive a water bottle and bag. Short Stix and Big Stix participants will also receive a performance wear shirt.

Lacrosse Tech also provides an on site, certified, trainer each day. As well as an AED. Safety is important to Lacrosse Tech and every effort is taken to provide a safe playing environment.

• Location: All sessions/programs are held at the RecZone, 912 Hodges St. Raleigh NC
• Programs: Lacrosse Tech offers three age groups for fall lacrosse.
  • Little Stix: For ages 4, 5, and 6. This is an introduction to the game of lacrosse. Each session is 45 minutes long.
    • Skill Level: for beginners
    • Required Equipment: a lacrosse stick and mouth piece
    • Time: 8:30am - 9:15am
    • Dates: 9/18, 9/25, 10/2, 10/9

  • Short Stix: For grades 1st - 5th. Each session is 1 hour long and is a combination of instruction and scrimmage.
    • Skill Level: for beginner to intermediate
    • Required Equipment: lacrosse stick, mouthpiece, helmet, gloves, shoulder pads, and arm pads.
    • Time: 9:30am - 10:30am
    • Dates: 9/11, 9/18, 9/25, 10/2, 10/9, 10/16, 10/23, 10/30

  • Big Stix: For grades 5th - 8th. Each session is 1 hour long and is a combination of instruction and scrimmage.
    • Skill Level: for beginner to intermediate (experienced 5th graders are welcome, but 5th graders new to the game should start off in the Short Stix program)
    • Required Equipment: lacrosse stick, mouthpiece, helmet, gloves, shoulder pads, and arm pads.
    • Time: 10:45am - 11:45 am
